Filter circuits using the TCA 580 gyrator. I
Abstract
The design principles of filter circuits with Chebyshev characteristic are reviewed. Chebyshev filters with gyrators are discussed and consideration is given to gyrator filters of even and odd order. It is shown that filter circuits of odd order can be designed easily in the form of networks, while even-order filters are best realized with operational amplifiers. The design of lowpass, bandpass, and bandstop filters is considered.
