Modell des "Schiefen Rotators" für HR 7129
Abstract
Many peculiar A and B stars exhibit periodic variations of equivalent widths and radial velocities for helium and some metals. These variations can be explained with the aid of the oblique-rotator model. In this model, the axis of rotation of the star is inclined to the line of sight and the abundance distribution is symmetric about an axis which does not coincide with the star's axis of rotation. This model is applied to the investigation of the periodic variations of some of the parameters of HR 7129.
