A statistical theory of the disruption of threebody systems  III. Threedimensional motion.
Abstract
The statistical theory is applied to the disruption of threebody systems moving in three dimensions. The eccentricity distribution of the binary is calculated and the relative proportion of binaries with angular momentum along the original angularmomentum axis is determined. The mass, velocity and solidangle distributions of the escaping particle are also determined.
