Optical information processing
Abstract
The book may be conditionally broken down into three parts. The first part deals with acoustooptic light deflectors and acoustooptic deflection materials; holographic recording, holographic storage of information, and phase matchable nonlinear optical materials; the second part covers such topics as the application of optical coherent information processing techniques to problems of astronomy; measurement of optical transfer functions by means of hologram filters; signal detection by complex spatial filtering; and studies of photographic granularity. The third part is devoted to noncoherent methods of optoelectronic image processing; two-dimensional digital filtering; and direct electronic Fourier transforms of optical images.
