Linear and nonlinear optical properties of Na 2SbF 5
Abstract
The macroscopic (crystal) hyperpolarizability ( d123) of orthorhombic Na 2SbF 5 is found to be 2.8 × 10 -10 esu. This corresponds to a microscopic (bond) hyperpolarizability for the Sb-F bonds and Sb lone pair of approximately three quarters of that found for iodine-oxygen (IO) bonds.
