Computer analysis of integrated circuits /CAIC/
Abstract
A computer program for modified nodal analysis of integrated circuits is described. It performs (1) nonlinear dc analysis to obtain quiescent operating points of various active devices, (2) small-signal analysis to obtain the frequency and phase response along with input, output, and transfer impedances, and (3) large-signal transient analysis with automatic time-step adjustment. The program is limited to circuits of 30 nodes with 50 resistors or capacitors, 30 bipolar transistors, 20 diodes, and 10 voltage sources.
