Synthesis of digital filters by state variable method
Abstract
A class of networks with specified feedback is introduced, and a design theory based on the state variable method which determines the network structure least affected by the finiteness of work length is described. The specified feedback circuit is based on an analog filter with consideration of the coefficient sensitivity with respect to the poles of the transfer function. Three digital filter networks were designed by the proposed method, and their output noise spectra were compared.
