Diode laser spectra of gaseous methyl alcohol
Abstract
The infrared absorption spectrum near 1034 cm -1 of the C O stretch band of gaseous methyl alcohol has been measured with a lead-salt diode laser. Stark and heterodyne experiments have permitted the assignment of many J, n, τ. K transitions. The relationship of the infrared absorptions to photon-pumped submillimetre wave laser transitions is discussed
