Heat transfer under disperse conditions of film boiling of cryogenic liquids
Abstract
In the present paper, a relationship which generalizes experimental heat transfer data on film boiling in a disperse mode is derived, in structural form, on the basis of a Reynolds flow model modified to cover two-phase flows with phase transitions. It is shown that heat transfer data for H2, N2, and Ar are generalized within plus or minus 12 percent.
