Transition matrices and delayed versions of maximal-length pseudo-random binary sequences
Abstract
A systematic method is developed for the design of transition matrices and a delayed version generator of a particular M-sequence. The technique is applicable to an M-sequence generator of long period for which conventional sequential design techniques are awkward. The final speed is a function of the switching speed of the logic gates.
