Adaptive antenna array systems
Abstract
In an adaptive antenna array system, a set of constraints was derived which settles a chosen frequency characteristic in the direction of interest. Dealing with wide-band signals, however, a frequency response for the array can not easily be determined, since a set of linear constraints depends on a number of parameters. In this paper, a new set of linear constraints is presented, and the number of parameters is reduced to one. Analysis of the GCLMS algorithm as well as computer simulations are performed in a differential form, since the procedure is complicated in a sampling process. The 'learning curve' shows an improvement on the model in so far as the applications were made.
