Demianski-Newman series in the Newman-Penrose formalism

In the present paper, a series of new exact vacuum solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations is obtained within the framework of the Newman-Penrose formalism. The series of solutions is termed the Demianski-Newman series due to the fact that the first solution of this series was obtained by them (in 1966). The remaining solutions of the series are obtained in the present paper. They are shown to constitute an extension of the Newman-Tamburino-Unti (1963) solutions to the case where a steady electromagnetic field is present in space-time.
