Global magnetovariation sounding of the earth and moon.
Abstract
The paper compares results of the planetary magnetovariational sounding of the earth and the moon. In spite of essential differences between models of induced-current excitation for the two planets, the results of sounding can, in both cases, be represented in the form of apparent resistance. Particular attention is given to electroconductivity anomalies and inversions in the lithospheres of the two planets.
