Motion of a bubble in a rotating liquid under residual gravity
Abstract
Equations of motion describing the motion of a small gas bubble of constant shape in a rotating liquid of constant density under the action of residual gravity are presented. It is assumed that the liquid rotates slowly about a rigid horizontal axis. Numerical results obtained for bubble motion under residual gravity are compared with data for bubble motion in a rotating liquid under simulated low-gravity
