Numerical solution of boundary value problems through integral equations
Abstract
The paper gives a review of some recent applications of integral equations to the numerical solution of boundary value problems. The purpose is to show the power of the integral equation method. The main part of the paper is a discussion of a number of specific problems from various branches of mechanics and mathematical physics which have been treated by integral equation methods.
