Study of the stability of the magnetic suspension of a body with ferromagnetic disk
Abstract
A self-regulating magnetic suspension for a body which uses a ferromagnetic disk as an armature is described. Equations of motion are described and the stability of the suspension is analyzed. It is shown that for a sufficiently large disk diameter, a suspension of this kind can be used for isolation of various types of devices from vibrations of the base.
