Optimization of the performance of ferrite isolators in the millimeter wave band
Abstract
Isolators with Chebyshev frequency characteristics in nonsaturating magnetizing fields are synthesized. Attention is given to the sequence of synthesizing isolators. This includes the admittance of the transformer and consequent determination of its geometry, as well as, the choosing of the load from the condition of magnetizing field minimum. Finally, the nature of the load requiring minimum of the magnetizing field is determined.
