The Concept of a Modular Payload with Decentralized Instrumentation
Abstract
For the Texus micro-gravity program, a modular concept using autonomous payload sections for each experiment was developed. The main feature of this concept is the use of decentralized instrumentation. Each experiment module carries its own power supply, sequencer, and data acquisition system. This concept was used advantageously in the Texus-1 project.
