Mutual counteraction of two moving bodies. I
Abstract
The mutual counteraction of two objects (Q and P) moving in space in a finite encounter time is studied, where the object P is controlled by a remote navigation system on the ground. In controlling P, use is made of information on the motion of Q, but Q has no current information on P and must determine his behavior on the basis of a priori information. The optimal strategies of Q and P are determined.
