Laminar boundary layer in a real gas
Abstract
The problem of the motion of a gas in a laminar boundary layer is reduced to a boundary value problem for a system of two quasi-linear parabolic equations. The initial conditions are obtained on the assumption of the existence of a point of accumulation and the assumption that the outer flow is isentropic in a neighborhood of this point. The system of equations can also be used to calculate flow with local separation.
