An asymptotic solution for the KdVB monotone shock wave and its generalisation

Under a certain condition on the coefficients, the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers equation admits a monotone shock solution. An accurate asymptotic expression for this monotone shock is presented. A simple modification of this asymptotic solution also yields the solution to the time regularized long wave equation with dissipative term.
