Incoherent optical processing via spatially offset pupil masks
Abstract
Consideration is given to the application of spatially offset pupil masks to incoherent optical processing. Arbitrary filter function synthesis is discussed along with amplitude and phase recovery procedures. Various pupil mask designs are described including the Laplacian filter and notch filters. Procedures for the analytical design of pupil masks are reviewed.
