Photometric histories of six infrared objects and three highly reddened blue supergiants.
Abstract
We have derived blue light curves for six infrared sources (IRC +10420, M1-92, V1515 Cyg, MWC 349, MWC 645, and MWC 819) and three highly reddened blue supergiants (stars 9, 12, and 25 in the association VI Cygni) from archival plates in the Harvard Collection. These light curves, which exhibit a wide variety of behavior, allow some interesting conclusions to be drawn for several of the sources. The infrared sources do not exhibit a consistent behavior among themselves. One of the three supergiants (No. 12) shows clear evidence of variability. The supergiants show no systematic changes in magnitude due to changes in telescopes or emulsions over the years. Subject headings: infrared: sources - photometry
