Fourier Analysis of the Light Curves of Eclipsing Variables, XXI
Abstract
The aim of the present paper is to deduce some further properties of the fundamental quantities inherent in the frequencydomain approachsuch as the fractional loss of light α{_{/l } ^{0}} and momentsA _{2m }of the light curves of eclipsing variables; and also to develop an iterative method for the solution of two key eclipse parametersa andc _{0} in terms of the observed quantities. This should facilitate practical applications of the methods developed in the preceding papers of this series for the frequencydomain light curve analysis of eclipsing variables.
