Relativistic Langmuir Solitons  Applications to Pulsars
Abstract
The nonlinear Schrödinger equation, describing the nonlinear Langmuir waves in a relativistic Vlasov plasma in a strong magnetic field, is derived. In the relativistic limit,KT>mc ^{2}, this equation gives envelope solitons which are discussed from a point of view of their applications to pulsars.
