Relativistic information theory and telecommunications - Outlooks
Abstract
A relativistic information theory based on explicit treatment of syntactic and semantic functions is discussed. Among the topics treated by the relativistic information theory are the problem of fuzzy sets, pattern recognition processes, and automatic translation. In addition, a relativistic interpretation for probability calculations has importance for the resolution of certain paradoxes in quantum mechanics. Principally, however, the relativistic information theory is applied to coding problems in which semantic factors intervene.
