Linear phase detector for radar interferometric measurements
Abstract
A special circuit is described by which phase measurements are made by measuring the average received signal power, which considerably reduces the undesired effects of impulse noise. The operating range is 360 deg. Besides an analog version, a linear phase detector using completely digital elements is shown. The digital version has a small effect of electrical noise on the shape factors of the measured sinusoidal quantities.
