Exact and approximate equations for realfluid isentropic flow
Abstract
Two exact equations are developed corresponding to the TaitKirkwood equation and the LaplacePoisson equation, respectively, by defining parameters corresponding to the exponents in these two equations. The two parameters defined are the nonlinearity parameter, that plays an essential role in compressible fluid flow, and the isentropic expansion coefficient. Simplified forms of the exact equations are tested for accuracy.
