Star clusters in M33: I: Identification.
Abstract
We present a list of 58 candidates to star clusters in M33, 33 of which were previously unknown. All objects are brighter than m(B) = 19.5 and we estimate that our list must be nearly complete to m(B) = 18.5. Since the predicted number of globular clusters in M33 is much smaller, we suggest that most of these objects are intermediate type clusters which are associated possibly with the disc of the galaxy.
