Manufacturing methods and technology engineering for TFT addressed display

This is the Third Quarterly Report on manufacturing methods and technology evaluation for the fabrication of thin film transistor based solid state displays. The automatic pilot manufacturing unit is operating at overall satisfactory levels and producing displays to the required formats etc. The quality level of these displays is as yet not sufficient to pass the required legibility specifications but good progress has been made at identifying the key problem areas. The fabrication equivalent displays at good quality levels on laboratory equipment has continued and confirmation of the major performance attributes was achieved.
