Attenuation measurements for a 30 GHz satellite-earth path in central England
Abstract
Some results for copolar fading and scintillation of the 30 GHz transmission from ATS-6 in clear air, cloud, and rain are presented. A comparison is made of measured copolar attenuation at 30 GHz and predicted attenuation from sky noise measurements at 35 GHz.
