Impulse response target study
Abstract
The space-time integral equation approach is extended to the problem of simple aircraft shapes. The target consisted of a cylindrical fuselage, and rectangular wings, stabilizers, and rudder. Calculations were compared to measurements. The inverse scattering problem was reformulated to take advantage of direct time domain method of solution. Solutions for the sphere, sphere capped cylinder, and flat end cylinder were developed.
