Modeling and design of dc-dc converters using modern control theory. Part 2: Open loop analysis and control design
Abstract
A very general model was developed to represent classical dc-dc converters. It proved to be valid for all types of cells and modulators under small signal, low frequency hypothesis. Its use as an analysis tool, both in open and in a given closed loop, constitutes the first part of this paper. In the second one, using state feedback techniques, it is shown how it is used to design feedback control loops insuring a priori prescribed dynamics performances.
