The 400 Hz sine wave power inverter for Spacelab
Abstract
The 400 Hz inverter for Spacelab has to supply two different groups of ac-loads in the Spacelab: on one hand, there are the subsystems to Spacelab with fairly defined load characteristics, on the other hand, there are the various completely different experiments. As a result, an abnormal pile-up of partially conflicting performance requirements was layed-down in the inverter specification. The inverter concept presented was selected out of several other concepts because it seemed to be the best technical solution in order to meet all requirements simultaneously.
