Radiation regime of inclined surfaces
Abstract
The importance of understanding the radiation regime of inclined surfaces in any attempt to make direct use of solar radiation as a source of energy is stressed. The approach suggested is to make use of available data on incoming direct, scattered and global radiation from stations which relate to horizontal surfaces and from this deduce the corresponding radiation component fluxes on inclined surfaces.
