Satellite-Fourier-spectrometer for Meteor-25 - Design problems and mission
Abstract
The paper describes the development of a design for the Fourier spectrometer SI 1 flown on the Meteor 25 satellite. One of the goals of the satellite was to test the possibility determining meteorological parameters through complex use of the spectrum. It is shown that careful choice of stable temperature state of the Fourier spectrometer, careful harmonizing of reference and signal tract with regard to equal time delay, and careful shielding from electromagnetic disturbances guarantee a measurement accuracy corresponding approximately to the theoretical value.
