Easy-to-use models for the dynamic study of power convertors in a wide range of operating conditions
Abstract
The dynamic behavior of convertors operating in control loops may be studied by using two rather different classes of models. Some are very simplified and others are sophisticated. This paper describes a method giving a model attempting to be a compromise between the two above classes. The model is basically continuous and non-linear for large-signal and linear continuous for small-signal. Some examples show the good agreement between the corresponding results and those obtained with more accurate methods.
