Gas dynamics. Volume 2 - Multidimensional flow
Abstract
The book extends and supplements material presented in the first volume, placing major emphasis on the application of the method of characteristics to steady and unsteady multidimensional flows. A review of the physics of flow governed by hyperbolic partial differential equations serves as a basis for examining numerical solutions for such flows. Numerical methods for problems involving the flow of perfect and imperfect gases are presented. Computer programs for numerical procedures used in analyzing different types of flow fields are given
