High-voltage power supply problems and design techniques
Abstract
The program discussed in the present paper was carried out to develop specific manufacturing techniques and materials to obtain high-voltage components that are free of sites that may produce corona and arcing damage to airborne (and terrestrial) high-voltage power supplies. Techniques for obtaining void-free pottings at critical electrical stress locations without appreciably affecting existing current supply design are described.
