On the excitation of axially symmetric modes of a cylindrical cavity for high fluence SGEMP simulation
Abstract
This excitation of the axially symmetric modes of a cylindrical tank are considered for circumstances which approximate those of a highly space-charge-limited SGEMP situation. The amplitudes of excitation are discussed from both a general point of view and with specific reference to the Physics International tank used with the Owl II photon source.
