Arrangement for the energy coupling of several laser resonators
Abstract
A technique for increasing laser output power through the energy coupling of several (i.e., four) resonators is proposed. The coupling is carried out by disposition of the four resonators into a parallel Cassegrain-optics arrangement. As an example, the technique was applied to an arrangement of four CO2 lasers. Several photographs illustrating the parallel optics arrangement are presented.
