Electron temperature model derived from AEROS-A
Abstract
An empirical electron temperature model derived from the data of the AEROS-A RPA shows both a latitudinal and a longitudinal distribution. Day and night-time temperatures are presented for different heights between 300 and 700 km. They agree well with Incoherent Scatter observations at low and midlatitudes.
