Contributions to the utilization of altimeter data
Abstract
The geodetic use of high precision altimeters is examined. Radars placed in artificial satellites contribute to the determination of a global coordinate system and the knowledge of the characteristics of the graviational field. The Hudson Bay project with five observation stations and the short-arc method used for equalization are described briefly.
