Doppler tracking: Experiment MA-089
Abstract
Measuring the gravity field from satellite-to-satellite velocity measurements, ionospheric studies using satellite-to-satellite Doppler data, and analysis of docking module motion about the center of mass are discussed. Other topics considered include: equipment built for the experiment; sources of data; and data reduction techniques. Results of ionospheric observations are presented and the inconclusive search for gravity signatures in the satellite-to-satellite velocity measurements is summarized.
