The generalized Chapman-Enskog method. II - Equations for a multi-velocity, multi-temperature mixture of gases
Abstract
A method developed by Galkin et al. (1974) is used to derive gasdynamic equations of a multivelocity, multitemperature binary mixture of monatomic gases in the absence of external forces. The analysis is performed in the Euler and Navier-Stokes approximations and a general algorithm for constructing a formal solution of the Boltzmann equation is presented.
