The effect of the method of recording time indicators on the precision of quantitative information in high-speed cinematography
Abstract
A new means of recording time indications on a decimal scale (1, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, 0.0001 sec) for use in high-speed cinematography is described. The apparatus involves an alternating current network and a special generator of pulsed time intervals. The equipment is described, the theory of the procedure is explained, and the data which indicate the validity of this method are presented.
