Determining the constants of integration in the approximate analytical theory of motion of geostationary satellites
Abstract
The work continues Timoshkova's (1977) approximate analytical theory of motion of geostationary satellites in spherical coordinates. The theory takes into account in a linear approximation the noncentrality of the earth's gravitational field and the gravitational attraction of the sun and moon. Here the constants of integration in the theory are computed for the case when the initial conditions are given in the form of the components of the position vector and their first derivatives with respect to time.
