Nonlinear electromagnetic fluctuations in a nonequilibrium plasma
Abstract
Fluctuations in a nonequilibrium plasma are analyzed with nonlinear wave interaction taken into account. In a microscopic approach, an inhomogeneous nonlinear equation is obtained for the fluctuation electric field. The sources in the equation are determined by the fluctuation current due to the random motion of individual plasma particles. This equation is used to obtain a system of inhomogeneous integral equations uniquely determining a sequence of correlation functions for the fluctuation field in the plasma.
