Intensification of convective heat transfer and problem of comparative evaluation of heat transfer surfaces

The current status of the problem (in the theory of transfer processes in moving media) of intensifying convective heat transfer at minimum energy consumption is reviewed. An analytical method of evaluating heat transfer surfaces in terms of the amount of heat transferred per unit of time, the energy consumption, and the area of the heat transfer surface is proposed.
