Radiant heat transfer in a real spectrum
Abstract
An asymptotic method is used to examine a radiative heat transfer problem involving determination of the integrated characteristics of a luminosity field along the entire spectrum considered. The method is based on the preliminary calculation of frequency-integrated optical density for an absorption path with a certain model temperature distribution. Using the approach, a high computational accuracy can be achieved for spectra of any degree of complexity with little expenditure of machine time.
